If a pub pilgrimage is more your speed, a pint at the Rose and Crown, in Trent, is at the finish line of a two-hour country romp. The towns of Yeovil and Sherborne – both within a 15-minute’ drive provide a host of restaurants, pubs, and other experiences, including bowling and movies in the Yeo leisure park. Finally, Burton Bradstock and several other beaches are within half an hour's drive, along with Montacute House, a gorgeous slice of Elizabethan history.
